What is the average cost for a minister to perform a marriage ceremony. How much does a minister charge in AZ?
Part of my schooling is to become a licensed minister and perform marriages, funerals and possibly baptisms.
Usually 50 to 100 dollars for the ceremony. This should also include a time to sit down with the two of you and go over the ceremony in detail (what you want, etc). If you want them to attend the rehearsal (a very good idea), that may be extra.
If you have a special friend that is a good public speaker and knows you well, they can often get a special permit good for one day only that will allow them to marry someone. It can make it a bit more personal instead of using some stranger.
