question about horse....please help!!!?
i found this horse that is for sale and i'm really interested in it...so i emailed the owner and asked if he has any medical problems or if he has had any in the past, and if he is sound. she said he does not have any medical problems and he is sound, but will require periodic injections (front fetlocks and coffin joints).
my question is, is that something to be concerned about, i.e what exactly does that mean?
it's a hunter horse, and i'd be showing it regularly.
Yes, I would be concerned! First that horse will be an endless pit of money. You wil constantly be buying him Medicine and it will cost more and more. If you really like the horse get your vet to look at him and hear what she said. Also the owner is lying because if he was sound he would not need injections. So I would walk away no run away!!! tell the owner sorry I changed my mind. Don't reply after that.
