Crystal Urn Ashes
ASHES: do you think it would be a good idea to have a new ashes trophy with the urn incorporated into a?
glass or crystal [cricket ball sized] sphere?
i like the idea of three columns [stumps] in a triangular formation, topped by glass/crystal sphere of cricket-ball size........but the main idea is to incorporate the tiny urn into the new trophy, so tradition is maintained, but the winners have a proper man-sized trophy to hold up in triumph.
a more radical idea still would be to have the trophy above, but to ceremonially burn the old urn, and incorporate the ashes..of the ashes urn into a glittering new trophy.
I think if the ashes can be converted into a nice ceramic glaze that would be more appropriate.
