My oldest brother disowned our family....?
This all began when my dad started working for my brother in construction. My brother really disrespected my dad in front of the other workers, so my dad quit. At my sisters funeral my brother caused a scene and disowned the family at her funeral, that was on August 7, 2003. Then my mom passed away June 20, 2005. He came to the funeral and walked up to the casket, wiped a tear and left. We have not spoke to him at all since all of this has happened. My brother divorced and remarried a b****, but anyways my family went to my ex sister-in-laws house for my nieces (my brothers daughter) graduation open house and my brother showed up as my family was leaving. Should I have said something to him? Do I call him? Or look at it like he started it and leave things be the way they are? I do not want to lower my standards to his level. He is the one that started it! I need some advise on this. please anyone
As a person who has disowned his family, LEAVE HIM ALONE...
If you try anything, he'll become worse... Let him carry on with his life and you carry on with yours... And leave well enough alone...
