What does the word "necessary" mean on a headstone?
We were at a cemetery in Kentucky, and the infant Grave Markers said "necessary". I've looked all over the internet, and cannot find anything about what this might mean.
"Necessary" would be in place of the last name, listed after the first and middle. One of the headstones was for a baby only a few weeks old, another was six years old, one was two, and the last one was six months.
Just "necessary" or was there anything else as well?
