Pet Cremation Cost
would you rather bury or cremate a beloved pet?
As many of you know my gerbil passed away on Thursday night around midnight. I am pricing cost of cremation for my little friend and realize they want about $150 to do it and return the ashes. I am wondering if anyone else has done this and how much was it? I know mass cremation is cheaper but if he isn't buried near me I want his ashes near me and his brothers
You may want to consult a taxidermist. That way you can keep that soft furry critter around for years to come. The cost may be prohibitive but I doubt you can put a dollar value on love. I am not sure, but I believe that you can cremate your beloved pet yourself and keep its ashes in a container of your choice. I hope my answer is not too insensitive as I know the value of beloved pets.
