Taking ashes inside a stuffed animal on plane?
My rabbit died a few months ago, and I was planning on having his ashes put inside a stuffed toy at Build a Bear to have instead of the traditional urn. The only problem is that I am going to be moving to the UK in about a month and am worried about going through security with the stuffed toy. The ashes will be in a plastic bag and the bear will be stitched up with them inside, so I would be unable to take the ashes out without breaking the toy. I'm worried that they're going to see a plastic bag with powder inside a toy as incredibly dodgy, and don't want them to confiscate my rabbit's ashes or break open the toy. If I take the certificate from the crematorium with me, will they not need to break open the toy?
First of all, I'm assuming you're currently in the US and will be dealing with the TSA.
That having been said, the TSA does allow cremated _human_ remains through security checkpoints as carry on baggage. Take a look at this policy:

I highly suspect they would apply the same criteria to your bun.
I personally transported part of my father's ashes as carry-on baggage. I had a copy of his death certificate and so on, and (most important) identified myself and the situation prior to entering the checkpoint. I would recommend that you do the same.
Do NOT try to "see if they'll notice" or just not tell them. That may get your bear torn apart. :^(
Absolute worst case scenario, they make you mail the bear from the airport.
