Urn Burners

Multi fuel burners ?
The look good and hopefully warm but are they enviromentaly friendly. I can only urn smoke free fuel, please help. Not sure what or how to think about this.

Would an open fire be better than a multi fuel burner?
The only heaters that are close to being low pollutant are the ones using LNG, Propane, or Natural gas. The primary result is combustion is H2O with a lower percentage of CO2, and very little soot.
All others produce higher CO2 levels and more soot due to higher carbon levels in the fuel.
