Urn Pet

When your pet passes away, do you ...?
a) Bury it in the backyard
b) Have it cremated, and the ashes disposed of
c) Keep the ashes in an urn
d) Bury it in a pet cemetary
I've never had anything bigger than a hamster pass away, and my mom put them in the trash. My dogs now are my first dogs, when they die I'm not really sure what I'll do. I won't bury them in the backyard, they're too big for me to do that properly, and it's illegal anyways. I'm not sentimental enough to pay to put them in a pet cemetery, they'll be dead and they won't care. Probably I'll do cremation and dispose of the ashes. Which doesn't mean I love my dogs any less than people who want to keep the ashes, it just means that ashes don't have as much meaning for me as a real living dog. I'll have the memory of them and pictures and I don't think I need any other reminders.
