The right size generator/inverter?

I am needing a generator or a inverter to power and electric griddle, 2 undercounter fridges, 1 undercounter freezer, 2 lights and a urn for a catering trailer.

Look on your devices for the watt usage (they are NOT 10 to 15 amps each!). Remember that the refrigerators are not continuous loads but the lights and the gill (if on all the time) will be. The watts of your continuous loads should be calculated at X 1.25. So a 60 watt light bulb is 60 X 1.25 = 75 watts.

Add up the watts and you will know what your load is. The formula is:
(Amps) * (Volts) = watts

Let's say you end up with 3650 total watt load, that is the same as 33 amps at 110v or 16.5 amps at 220v.

Add it all up an get a generator that has the wattage output you need.
