Can x-rays penetrate a wooden urn ?
Can X-rays penetrate a wooden urn that contains cremated remains of a loved one, so that it does not arise any issues with airport security or TSA ?
Or, must the urn be of some other material so that x-rays penetrate it to reveal what is inside, without TSA etc having to insist on looking in it or opening it ?

Wood to an x-ray machine is as transparent as glass is to visible light, as are light metals like aluminium which x-ray cassettes are made of, it's also unlikely that they would want to open it as detectors at the airport could see that it was an uniform substance, if there was any suspicions of drugs they have other ways of detecting it rather than opening it.
