Shouldn't the government just give one to each family?
I don't like government handouts.
My turkey was free.
However, that price does not include the time I spent waiting, the money I spent for ammo, the permit to hunt the bird or the state required hunting classes for first time hunters.
But, you can't find a turkey that is fresher and more organic than wild game.
A government turkey, in addition to size restrictions and paperwork, would not be enough to feed a family of four. You would be better off buying two rotisserie chickens from giant eagle.
